Proverbs 4:20-22
My son attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the centre of your heart. For they are life to those who find them healing and health to all their flesh.
The word of God is life and health to all our flesh, what a wonderful promise. As we keep our eyes on the word and keep the word in the centre of our hearts, God promises health and healing.
The key is to keep our focus on the word, not on our problems, or on the mountain’s we face in life. Trials will come to us, Jesus said be of good cheer He has overcome this world – John 16:33.The key is to keep our eyes on Him for He is the answer and His word is the answer for our health and healing.
To keep the word in the centre of our hearts is to believe what the word of God says over and above our circumstances. As we attend to the Word, we are deliberately putting it into our hearts and minds and in doing this we are being transformed from the inside out.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, help me to keep my eyes on You and Your word today. Thank You that your word is my health and healing in all my flesh today.
